Coumba D. Sow

A Senegalese national, she has been Resident Representative and Country Director of the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in Rwanda and Djibouti since 2022. A graduate in Public Policy Management from Sciences Po, Paris, and in agroeconomics from the University of London, she defends the combination of traditional and scientific knowledge for the development of resilient food systems and better nutrition of populations. In addition to food security and sustainable systems, “Zero Hunger”, target 2 of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), is at the heart of her mission.
