Former artistic director of the Dakar Arts Biennale in 2022, this doctor in Art History from Rennes II University is currently a researcher at the Fundamental Institute of Black Africa (IFAN/Cheikh Anta Diop University of Dakar), Curator of the Théodore Monod Museum of African Art and Secretary General of ICOM/Senegal. Member of the Steering Committee for the 2018 edition of the Dak’Art Contemporary African Art Biennial, he headed the Meetings and Exchanges Commission. Theorist and curator, his publications focus on modern/contemporary art and global history, cultural policies and African museum institutions.
