Ellen Dennis

Assistant professor at the School of Arts at Columbia University (New York), this American independent producer has produced, directed and toured the work of international artists around the world (Mikhail Baryshnikov, Pina Bausch, Black Grace Dance Company, Peter Brook, Diamanda Galas, Philip Glass, Barrie Kosky, Dmitri Krymov, Arthur Miller, Steve Reich, Dorcy Rugamba, Maurice Sendak, Twyla Tharp, Yo-Yo Ma and Robert Wilson), as well as that of the American Ballet Theater, the Brooklyn Academy of Music, National Public Radio (NPR), PBS and the Vienna Festival. She also produced New York City Center’s Fall for Dance Festival and Season of Cambodia. She is a consultant for the Australia Arts Council, The Asia Society, Columbia University, the Guggenheim Museum, the Taiwan Ministry of Culture, the Vienna Film Festival and the Vienna Film Festival.
