A lover of the tales of the Arabian Nights, this multidisciplinary artist born in 1997 adapts them for his first play, “Tell me a story”, given in Kepler Kigali with the support of RAI. His first short film, “Omen”, was screened by the Goethe Institut in Kigali and selected for Manyatta Screenings 2021. He assisted Dorcy Rugamba on the staging of the female cast of “Bloody Niggers” at the Franco Rwandais cultural center and “ Les Restes Suprêmes” for the Dak’Art biennial in 2022. He is staging the eclectic show “Makembe et Les Pêcheurs”, a fusion of traditional Rwandan rhythms with a modern twist in September 2022. He writes, directs and performs in “Devil’s Gold”, a show about the rituals of coming of age, shown at the Lavoir Moderne Parisien in March 2023.
