Samuel Sangwa Muteba

Regional Director for Africa of the International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers (CISAC), he coordinates the activities of member societies in Africa, promotes laws relating to intellectual property and develops a network of collective management societies. He has more than 15 years of experience in optimizing the potential of cultural and creative industries, developing the private sector and strengthening local activity and international cooperation in the cultural sector.

Before joining CISAC, he worked as a consultant and project coordinator in partnership with cultural institutions, international development agencies, development aid actors, ministries and representatives of public authorities, local and decentralized organizations and collective management organizations in Africa.
