Dancer and choreographer, artistic co-director of the École des Sables de Germaine Acogny in Senegal, he is also an associate professor at the CPARC research centers in Bordeaux, at the National University of Rwanda and at Muda Africa in Tanzania. He is part of the group of 13 experts in the world who hold the Germaine Acogny Technique diploma. Recipient of the prestigious artistic direction mentoring program with the Sundance Lab Institute and the Georgetown University Fellowship for Arts and Politics in the United States, Wesley is the artistic director of Cie Amizero, one of the first professional Rwandan choreographic companies.
