Creator of the Masa Mara brand, this Rwandan artist uses the pseudonym « Nyambo » to mark his connection with the cow, whose status was royal in ancient Rwanda. Moving between traditional art and Afro-futurism, he cares about transmitting traditional values while celebrating innovation.
Based in South Africa and rooted in a Pan-African identity, he designs and prints his own fabric, referencing the Ankara wax print, a ubiquitous kaleidoscopic signature in Africa. He adapts it in his pieces, in a quest for reconstruction.
