Plays on materials, fitted silhouettes… His geometric approach gives his creations a recognizable signature. This Senegalese fashion designer, artistic director of the Algueye brand, leads a team of more than 10 people. He received the 1st OIF Limited Edition Prize in 2015 and participated in MASA Abidjan, Africa Fashion Week Dakar and Africa Fashion Design Lagos, in addition to fashion shows at the Angola International Fashion Show and AFRIFATA Maroc. His contribution to the fashion sector was also manifested through his role as a trainer from 2012 to 2018, sharing his know-how in patternmaking, gradation and industrialization with the generation of future designers. Lahad Gueye obtained a BTS from the Institut Coupe Couture et Mode in 2011 and a master’s degree in Business Management from the Faculty of Economics and Management in Dakar.
