Synopsis: It is a story that begins in the midst of the Cold War, in 1964, when ten Malian musicians arrive in Castro’s Havana to study music. By blending sounds, they become the first Afro-Cuban group in history: the Maravillas de Mali. Fifty years later, between Bamako and Havana, we embark on a quest to find Maestro Boncana Maïga, their conductor, with the ambitious project of reuniting this legendary group.
