Carine Maniraguha, known as Carine Poet, originally from Kigali, is a slam poet, writer, actress in cinema and theater, as well as a hair stylist at Studio Sawa. She played in three TV series in 2022. She has written six radio plays and is the author of several poems and six children’s books.
Discovered in 2017 in the « Arts ubuhanzi » competition, she received two awards: best poetess and best female stylist. In 2018, she launched « Ibanga Poetic Night » and curated the exhibition « The Art of Telling Hair Stories. »
