Cédric Mizero

Cédric Mizero, born in 1993 in Rwanda, is a visual artist and storyteller with a deep connection to nature. His statues are sometimes dressed in weathered skins. His works, of very large form, are inspired by his emotional and sensory experiences with the world around him, capturing what he defines as « the beauty of everyday small moments. »
His creations have been exhibited in London, Abidjan, Pittsburgh, and Dakar, and at the Révélations salon at the Grand Palais Éphémère in Paris in June 2023. In 2019, he brilliantly represented Rwanda at the International Fashion Showcase (IFS) at Somerset House in London with the installation « Dreaming My Memory, » receiving special mention for the curation of his work.
